upload files to extsdcard on Galaxy s3

I installed ADB 3 and able to connect to phone. I can upload & download from sdcard (phone memory) but when I try to send files to my 32G extsdcard they just disappear into the folder. When I do the same using My Phone Explorer app I have no problem, any suggestions.

I have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S4. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm using ADB 7.0...
