prevent erasing some filetypes

i was wondering if exists any plugin or if is possible to prevent deleting some filetypes, for example .dat or whatever, without changing file atributes, like hidden or only read.

Actually, if I want to delete some filetypes, y just select on the right or left menu the extension i want to see. but if accidentally if all is selected by default and i forget to choose the correct option, i could erase very important data.

so my answer is if i can prevent or just can´t delete desired filetypes without modifying the original file/s (this is the problem).

No, there isn't such an option, sorry. Why not just set the read only attribute? It is meant for that!

because if i do that the program that manages those files can´t write it.just says: can´t save changes: please make sue that read only protection is already removed!!!!
