RTF files in Lister with different extension

Post by *SanskritFritz »

Is there a way to see RTF files in lister when the file extension is not "*.rtf"?
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Doesn't it do it by default?
I have some .rtf files without any extensions and lister views it correctly without any problem.

I tried it, you're right, I renamed a real rtf file, TC shows it ok. It might be the case, that the one I was writing about (KeyNote file) is not correct rtf. It is an own extended format, with the tags being rtf tags.

Lister looks for "{\rtf1" and "{\rtf\". If any of these two is found near the beginning, the file is interpreted as an RTF file.
