That works only when you're connected to an FTP server.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

FTP Attributes

Post by *beuvema »

If I am connected to an FTP server, should I Use:

Files - Change Attributes...

to change the attributes on teh UNIX Server?
I Tried it this way but the Attribs can't be changed.
They remain -644

My provider offered to remove the files and i agreed but I still don't know the cause of the problem, and he didn't remove them yet.

Yes, what's the problem? Or you suppose you can do it offline? %)

"Files/Change Attributes..." (internal command cm_SetAttrib).[/face]

beuvema,

Well then probably the FTP server doesn't support it. Or maybe you are connecting through a HTTP proxy that might not support it, either.
Can you change the attributes using other FTP clients?

TIA

Is it possible that you do not have sufficient rights to change the attributes? In this case you should ask the FTP system administrator to remove files or to give you sufficient rights to manage files.
