I have some IT guys claiming that loading TC v5.5 on their NT4 server caused it to stop IIS services.
I do not see how this is possible and I think they are just blaming me to find a reason for the service stopping. So blame me since I loaded the program around the same time.
Is this possible? I know anything is possible on Windows, but is it logically possible? How many NT 4 servers with IIS is TC loaded on? Rough estimate? I have at least 30 and no problems.
TC stopping services

Tell them to use Regmon by www.sysinternals.com and observe the corresponding service key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
Filter include:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IISservicename
Uncheck Log opens and reads.
Whenever the service is stopped, the problematic app is identified.

I have not heared of any such problem so far, and I see no reason why this should happen.

Ask those guys if it happens ONLY in the moment when TC is started or it happens ocassionally in random moments.
Does this occur only when TC is started or also when other applications are started?
Do they have the newest ServicePacks for NT (and IIS)?
If they complain that is happened after installing TC then I guess it is a bad coincidence or they just want to blame you.
Let them provide you as much details as possible.
And/or
Let them install TC 6.02 and see if anything changes.
