Editing PATH with environment variables plugin

Thanks for writing the environment variables plugin.

I only use it to edit the PATH system variable but for that one use it is fabulous. It would be even more fabulous if it recognised that the value was an ordered list and provided support for inserting, deleting and reordering the values in the list (like TC's favourite directories list).

This would be applicable to any list. You could assume that the separator was semicolon and, for extra points, allow the user to override that assumption.

You could provide both views of the variable value simultaneously: joined up and split. The user should be able to edit either view and see the results instantly reflected in the other view.

Just an idea.
