Recently I checked Microsoft's crash report database (which collects messages like "Program x is not responding") for new bugs in Total Commander. To my surprise, the top 3 reports with many thousands of hits were all caused by a single plugin: DiskInternals reader.
I reported the bug to the DiskInternals reader support via their support ticket system, but I got a reply that they cannot do much without actual disk images which cause the crash.
Therefore if anyone here is getting crash reports with DiskInternals reader, PLEASE report them here:

It seems that most of the reports were on Windows 8 only, so there may be a problem with DiskInternals reader and Windows 8. However, I tried it on Windows 8 and didn't have any problems with floppy images and Vmware disks...
Btw, the version of DiskInternals reader on totalcmd.net is outdated. The current version (32+64 bit) is available here:
