I think it's a bug because when I want to search with loaded (customizable) criteria I expect to search the same docs (for example) in other place (path), exactly in current directory.
It's very good to have opportunity to save also the path, but this must by optional. I mean the replacement of current search path with the saved one.

In this case when I load a search item my path, for example current directory or current disk, is overwriting with no one.HolgerK wrote:How about leaving the "Search in:" empty before saving a search?

In my opinion, this can be changed easy with a check box: save or not - path - into a saved group, because sometimes it must be necessary, sometime not.

I have tried. Thanks for the info. It's correct what you said.MVV wrote:eugensyl,
Empty search path means active panel's path (there are a lot of other places where empty path means current path) so it is OK to have it empty. Just try search in it.
So, it is not a bug. It's a feature.

Yes, when you save an empty path, TC will restore that to make sure that it searches in the current path.
