-TC8.5 beta 5 file detail colums overlapping

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-TC8.5 beta 5 file detail colums overlapping

Post by *Herbert »

Windows 7 prof 64 bit
barely modified

The colums of the file details (size, name, date, attributes etc. ) can be pushed into each other so the text is overlapping.

Not sure if bug or feature. Didn´t see a lock either.

Feature. Lovely feature.
The best solution:
1. format C:
2. install TotalCmd
3. install Windows (optionally)

It's neither a bug nor a feature - it just doesn't make sense to shorten these columns, so TC relies on the user to adjust the column widths as necessary. The custom columns are shortened because TC cannot 'know' where it makes sense (e.g. in comment fields) and where not.
