Environment: WinXP SP3 32Bit
Steps:
1) Switch on both sides to a directory with a lot of files with different file extensions. 3-4 files of each file extension!
In my case this directory is in drive L:\Mydirectory
2) Be sure that sorting is done by "Ext"column on both sides
3) Open "search in a separate process" window.
4) Be sure to search in a different location than the directory
chosen in step (1) e.g. D:\
5) Switch to Advanced tab and select "Find duplicate files"
4) After search is finished click on "Feed to listbox"
Now we have on the left side the initially chosen directory and on the right side the results of our search.
5) Now click on drive L:\ using the drive buttons (for the right side where the search results are shown). In my case I activated both drive button bars!
observed:
TC switches to the same directory which is still visible on the left side!
Sorting on both sides is still by "Ext".
The only difference is that on the right side the result of sorting is not correct!
The files on the right side are sorted by name instead of by "Ext".
+[TC8.50b10] Sorting is not correct after search
