?Cursor not always working after delete file.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

?Cursor not always working after delete file.

Post by *obeg »

Hi

In some cases the cursor is not following the current file, after a delete.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Local drive (ie C:) in the left pane.
2. Network folder, with UNC-path in the right pane (ie \\server\share\folder).
3. Delete a file on the local drive (to recycle bin or permanent)
4. Move up or down with the arrow-keys.

Now the cursor is not following the movement. Pressing TAB-key twice will put the cursor on the correct file and everything works again.

Bug found in beta 12.

Hello, obeg.

Which Total Commander 8.50ß12 edition, please, 32-bit or 64-bit?
Which Windows version exactly, please?

Tried to reproduce the reported behaviour here, but without success. Tested environment:
+ Server 2008 R2 SP1 (64-bit)
+ Total Commander 8.50ß12 64-bit

Cheers,
Karl

Do you use the Explorer delete method (Configuration - Options - Copy/Delete)? This method doesn't support cursor positioning.
