Mainmenu= in wincmd.ini doesn't work?

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Mainmenu= in wincmd.ini doesn't work?

Post by *tom*de »

Hello,
it seems, that in wincmd.ini:

Code: Select all

Mainmenu=%COMMANDER_PATH%\LANGUAGE\WCMD_MYOWN_DEU.MNU
not observed in v8.51b2?

Works fine here! My guess is that you have more than one installation of Total Commander on that system. You probably run one, but the mnu file is in the language subdir of the other.

Yes, works fine here too.

BTW: Since you are using the default location you don't even have to specify the path.

Code: Select all

Mainmenu=WCMD_MYOWN_DEU.MNU
will do it

My problem were second Mainmenu= and LanguageIni= entries in wincmd.ini, before my own entries. Now, it works fine, thanks.
