-[8.51] Progress Bar generating problem

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-[8.51] Progress Bar generating problem

Post by *krasusczak »

Hi, sometimes i have problem with generating of progress bar

Now tested on XP/32, TCM 8.51/32 (previously ver. of tcm also) different win/pc version i don't remember & i can't check it now

Problem generally looks like this http://s4.postimg.org/ew8xzz9p9/render.jpg

So i start to copy something (in this case on LAN) after that for example i open cmd window like on the screen & put cmd window on (in a front of tcm) & progress bar get wrong value
18% looks more like ~70% , 52% looks like 100%
19% gonna looks like ~71%, etc..

I have notice that problem moths ago, maybe problem with graphic/rendering on this pc/os, maybe with tcm or maybe with something else...

@edit
Ok now i have check deeper & this is probably problem with theme i just used on my xp "Royale_Remixed_by_oddbasket" on normal theme i don't see this problem at least now..

Indeed it sounds like a theme problem. I suggest that you report it to the theme writer. He is probably using the clipping (need to redraw) rectangle instead of the control rectangle to calculate the progress bar position. This clipping rectangle is different when the control is partially obscured, because only the visible parts needs to be redrawn then.
