How do indexed search then quick view?

Is there a convenient way to quick-view the results of an indexed search?

In other words, after searching with Locate32, I would like to Ctrl-Q quickview to peek at each file in turn listed the search results.

Detail:
- I'm not wedded to Locate32, but I am wedded to TC.
- TC's file search is excellent but not indexed so it requires patience.
- I did read previous posts on the topic but I did not see a solution.

Install the FSE plugin, it supports Locate as search engine.
Then you can use TC quick view in the results list.

Thank you Horst Epp. FSE.wfx works, but needs a lot of work before it is convenient to use every day. Is there more documentation? Or can you describe how you use it? (I also emailed the author of FSE)

Let me describe what I did and what I learned from using FSE.wfx:

Detail:
I downloaded and installed FSE.zip as Horst.Epp suggested. It is version 2.2.
I invoked FSE.wfx by typing "Alt-F1" and "\" to go to network neighborhood, and then "FSE" and "New Search."

My conclusions:
Beware that Age Max and Age Min are reversed in meaning, as are Size Max and Size Min.
Leave branch view on [Branch=1] to simplify comparing files.
Do not use "separate thread" [InThread=1] or you will get nothing, not even an error
Configure a custom column so you can sort by filename, extension, etc. just as you would for TC QuickSearch ALT-F7.

There is a FSEstart.exe in the archive which you can put on your button bar.
I use an x64 version from the Author togehther with Locate and Everything.
Don't need any other special settings or custom columns for my purposes.
Also you only make such settings only once, so I don't see a problem here.

No such problems here with TC 8.52a x64 and x86 under Windows 10 x64.
Also used it without problems on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1
You should report the details of the crash and your environment.

i got an "Exception EAccessViolation in modul..."

but i found the solution (the hard way) now.

my FSE.ini contained this:

SavePath=

but should be like this:

SavePath=Results

the "bad one" worked with FSE 2.2, not with 2.4.
still, it shouldn't crash that badly because of a bad(?) ini file.
