Will not unzip

I have a large zip file from TWRP 2.9gb on external SD card. TC refuses to unzip it and TWRP refuses to see it in zipped form!!
Propriety unzipper from Google Play - (B1 Free Archiver) unzipped it with no real problem - just took a while!!
Maybe TC was doing something but there was no progress bar nor any other kind of indication that something was happening.

TC does not currently support ZIP files larger than 2 GB.
