"As Admin" missing from Synchronize window

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

"As Admin" missing from Synchronize window

Post by *wanderer »

Win2008 with UAC enabled. Synchronize two directories, then press "Synchronize" button. On the first file, TC instead of popping a dialog saying "cannot copy the file" and provide an "as admin" button, it pops up a dialog saying "access denied on file ..." and has only skip/cancel choices.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

This means that the error indicated that the file is open - then even "as admin" will not help.

I don't think that's what happened in my case. It did that with all the files in a folder (i.e. even images) and as soon as i turned off UAC and restarted the PC, it worked like a charm...
