Default button in standard column config doesn't fully work

When clicking on the 'Default' button in "Tabulators' in the settings dialog many settings are not defaulted.

The default button is meant for the tab widths.

It also works for the extension alignment and for the 'adapt tabs to window width" setting. On the other hand it doesn't work for the comment column.

It's not so obvious what the button is actually doing. It looks like it's for everything on the page and also the help doesn't give a clue.
