Is it possible to use Multi-rename tool to remove for example the first or the last 18 characters of each file name ?.

Example: "Total Commander - Help.TXT" --> "Help.TXT"

Is it possible to use Multi-rename tool to remove for example the first or the last 18 characters of each file name ?.

Example: "Total Commander - Help.TXT" --> "Help.TXT"

Use the [N#-#] Range button and select the part you want preserve. If you do not select a filename the button will present you the longest filename in your rename list. If not desired you can select the filename yu want to take as template.
