I would like to have a command to clear the historys of TC.
- Commandline History
- Searchname
- SearchIn
- Searchtext
- Selection
- renameTemplates
- right path
- left path
- searches
- rename
- lefttabs
- righttabs
So I wouldn't have to do it manually in wincmd.ini.
Maybe the command could open a dialog with tickboxes for each history to clear.

I second that!
Also, when I backup my ini file I usually do not need this type of data stored in it. I need my file clean to comply with future and/or other configurations or machines. Current situation is still compatible but surely up to a certain point. It helps also if you want to share your ini file with a friend but don’t actually want to show your dir structure and/or working habits.
History and configurations are not to be mixed in the majority of cases. Your list Sheepdog includes both categories! So, maybe a more sophisticated clearance should be applied where the user can define how deep the process will go, like the tickboxes you've suggested.

• Very good idea, I support it !
* Could be a command like:
cm_ClearHistoricals (record) in the menu "Commands"?
Please, Mr. Ghisler…

• That seems a good way to get that. I agree. With an "Apply" button ?Maybe the command could open a dialog with tickboxes for each history to clear.

Ok! Shall we start a poll on the issue guys? Well, we known that Christian does not fully trust polls but history has proven that he certainly does not ignore them also!

Hi Panos !
• Okay for a poll (just check before whether not any similar exists already)
2Sheepdog
• You might launch that poll, Stefan... Suggestion, two options :
- As a single dialog-box (no sections)
- As a dialog box with two sections (Conf. & Records)
