I have 2 SFTP servers, connected to both with TC, one on the right pane, the other on the left pane.
When I try to copy a file (F5) from one pane to the other I get an error message: "Error downloading file!".
No problem copying (both ways) between SFTP and "normal" file system (local disk, network drive, etc).
Using SFTP plugin:
New secure ftp plugin version 1.4.2 beta 1 (32 bit+64 bit)

Unfortunately SFTP does not support direct server to server transfers, because they use different encryptions. Even if they would, sending the credentials of one server to the other would be a security risk.

Why strange?
I said nothing of "server to server", I said "pane to pane".
As such, my expectation from TC is to solve all problems with pane2pane copy.
When copying between 2 windows shares each with different credentials, is this done server to server? I hope not, since this would expose the same security breach Christian mentioned in his reply.
Also, the 2 shares may even not be accessible between themselves due to e.g. firewall issues. Regardless, I would expect TC to do the copy.
