[9.0ß1] Auto switch mode bug
how to reproduce:
#1 have a folder like c:\downloads
#2 create and apply rules to have this folder sorted by date
#3 the rule should not include subfolders
#4 from default view upon entering its sorted by date like expected
#5 now enter into a subfolder ie called 9gag -> switch to dafault view like expected
#6 switch to and use any other commander/explorer/tool and delete the folder 9gag
#7 switch back to tc
expectation: being in folder downloads with your sort by date rule
reality: being in folder download with default view

Currently view modes are not applied when there is a directory change error which brings you elsewhere than expected. I will check whether I can support this or not.

Well if not the whole view mode system the way its implemented now seems rather pointless because it shoudnt matter how you switch the view mode is applied. Otherwise whats the reason to have a special view mode assigned?ghisler(Author) wrote:Currently view modes are not applied when there is a directory change error which brings you elsewhere than expected. Why should the whole view mode be "rather pointless" just because you produce a very special error situation and its handling is not perfect ?Emalis.Reckah wrote:Well if not the whole view mode system the way its implemented now seems rather pointless because it shoudnt matter how you switch the view mode is applied. The basic logic of View modes works fine here in daily work.
