Coloring File Types Error

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Coloring File Types Error

Post by *grewi »

Hi, filetype color does't work at ".docx.pdf"
Setting for .pdf will be not activated.
Also definition of ".docx.pdf" not works.
Thanks

You must use *.docx.pdf if you intend to color all files of this file type. .docx.pdf will color ONLY the file named ".docx.pdf" - I guess you don't have a file with such name.

If you're using TC9 64 bit, you might face some other bug: http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=44708

Hello,

On my environnment with TC9B3 It's works with 32 or 64 version.
To properly understand the problem, you have configured the colorization on other file types like *.doc*?

Be carreful to the order, TC stops at the first match for the colorization
example:
*.docx.pdf -> Orange
*.pdf -> Blue
*.doc*;*.pdf -> White

given :
test.docx.pdf in orange
test.docx in white
test.doc in white
test.pdf in blue
