TC9 b1-b4 x86 Folder Tabs - show icons on tabs needs restart

Hi all,
I have lots and lots (and lots) of folder tabs on one line (I prefer it that way) and since 9.0 the folder tabs became wider in x86:

TC 8.52a x86 - OK
TC 9.0 x64 - OK
TC 9.0 x86 - too wide?

Icons on tabs are off.
Could the tabs be made narrower again somehow? Have I perhaps missed a setting (which would somehow only apply to x86 and not to x64)?

Huh, seems "Show icons on tabs" needs a TC restart to work (make the tabs narrower or wider). The tab width is now OK, though I am not sure if the restart should be necessary. If yes, I'd say it should be documented.

Man that is a lot of tabs! Do you use just the first 2 characters to find which tab you want?

Wow, that's not the idea of tabs! You should use the bookmarks (Ctrl+D, directory hotlist) instead.

Well, it does not look like it, but I need to have an overview. Also, Ctrl-D is not panel-specific (left vs. right).
