View modes must inherit when you duplicate a tab via menu

Post by *paravion »

Why duplicate a tab via ctrl+t inherit view mode, but via the right click menu view mode is not inherit.
There is a shortcut CTRL+T written on the "duplicate tab" point in the tab right click menu, ensuring me that this point in the menu do the same as the shortcut.
Actually, this is good that by the menu duplicate tab opens in bg, but why the mode is not inherit? This is not written (in bg) in the menu also...

Thanks for finding that, it was just not implemented. I have added it now. The functions are completely different: Ctrl+T always duplicates the active tab, while the context menu also alloes to duplicate inactive tabs.

I can confirm that Ctrl+T, Ctrl+Shift+T and tab context menu duplicate command works as expected in beta 6 - view modes are now also applied from the original tab.
