Quick Search works erratically when QV is active (beta 5)

I’m using the Ctrl+Alt+Letter option for Quick Search and XnView as the graphic viewer (but the bug shows for all kinds of files being shown in QV panel).

When Quick View is active the Quick Search window shows up after triggering but vanishes almost immediately. Sometimes I’m able to put a second letter there, but that’s all.

I did a short test and it looks like all the options using QS window are not working properly with Quick View.

I can confirm this with TC9b6 32- and 64 bit - it does not happen in TC 8.52a.

I have configured to Alt+letter. When QuickView is active the cursor just either just jumps to the first file with the pressed letter. Sometimes the Search dialog pops up, but when I type in it and the cursor jumps to a new file then the dialog dissapears again.

Actually it also happens in TC 32-bit - it just depends on the plugin: If the plugin steals the focus, then the quick search dialog automatically closes.

But the plugin did not change, and in TC 8 somehow it works fine…

Sorry, I didn't know that it did not happen in TC 8. I will check the code changes.
