Looking for a new Korean translator

Post by *ghisler(Author) »

This isn't really a bug report, although you can call a missing translations a bug too:

I'm looking for a new translator for the Korean language in Total Commander for Windows. The user who has provided the Korean translation for many years cannot help me any more, for personal reasons. Korean is part of the main installer, and I would like to keep it there if possible.

If you are a Korean Total Commander user and would like to help me, please contact me at support at ghisler dot com.

What will be your benefits?
- be listed on our homepage and in our help with your name or nickname
- get one or more free TC licenses
- higher probability to get suggestions implemented, especially when they are related to your language

There are also some other languages without a translator, see http://www.ghisler.com/languages.htm under "Not yet adapted to", but Korean is the most important. If you speak any of these and would like to help, then please contact me too.

I offer to translate to German then. Very Happy Laughing Very Happy
A translation of the original Swiss language would be welcome but how can you help here? Unless you are from the district of Hanover or managed to master the German language instead of some East-German dialect that wouldn't be really a huge progress :D 8)

That would be great, the translator didn't reply yet. Kölsch is currently up to date for TC 8.5x:

Since I couldn't find a new Korean translator, I used the commercial translation service Genga to have the strings translated. I checked the results by translating them back with Bing and Google translate, and it looked OK. If you (the reader) happen to use the Korean version and find any problems, I would appreciate a correction via e-mail or here in the forum.
