Multi-rename tool - Range not working (ver 6.0 and above)

I guess you mean [N#-#]?

If you click on it you get displayed the longest filename (if none is selected). You have to select (highlight) the part you want to adopt and press [OK]. Then you get the appropriate [N4-7] ( or whatever ) in the 'name' field.
