Difference between 'User-defined location' and 'Bookmarks'?

'User-defined location' gives a much faster path access than 'Bookmarks', BUT the problem is, MOVE is not supported(Pop-up:Error Function not supported!) if I'm in both directories through 'User-defined location' than through 'Bookmarks'. Is this an expected behavior?
If one can't move anything then what good is it for?

BTW, both directories are in SD-Memory, and the destination directory is a sub-directory of the directory that has been accessed through 'User-defined location'.

There should not be any difference. Did you enter the paths correctly? Maybe you entered a space at the end?
