For me "Load playlist" Media Player button opens "Open File" dialog with a folder pre-filtered for .pls|.m3u|.m3u8 extensions, so it can't see the xspf file in that folder. Looks like a bug.

xspf files are currently only supported via file associations. I will consider it.

history2.txt wrote:2017-08-24 Fixed: Media player, load playlist: added .xspf extension
The xspf extension was added to the filter of Open dialog, however on try to open the xspf file following error appears:

Code: Select all

Cannot find file!
(19x)
This xspf file is added to playlist however when to use file associations or "+" button (using step 3 from this post)

Reproduced on Android 4.3.1 with TC4A 2.81 beta 8.

Can you send me the content of that file? Sounds like TC has problems reading it.

Fixed, checked on TC4A 2.81 beta 10 on Android 4.3.1 device.

Seems to work fine with my UTF-8 xspf playlist which has cyrillic text.
