Hi,
I run TC2.80 on a Huawei P9 lite, android 7, 16GB internal mem plus 32GB SDcard.
1. all is OK if Huawei memory default is set to INTERNAL.
Then TC shows me
a) System mem - not accessable (ok, due to android 7 )
b) internal memory 16 GB, read and write ok
c) external SDcard 32 GB, read and write ok
2. if I set Huawei memory default to SDcard
then TC shows me
a) System mem ( as before)
b) internal memory 32 GB, /storage/6234-3335 which is the external SDcard
c) the original internal memory of 16 GB has disappeared
3. My test run with Solid-Explorer shows all memories ok in both memory default settings
What makes TC seeing the external SDcard as internal memory, forgetting the true internal memory?
internal mem disappears when mem storage default SDcard

This is normal when you use the sd card as so-called adoptable storage. I don't know how solid explorer manages to still see the internal memory, it should be impossible except when rooted.
You can try to add a button to go directly to the internal memory directory.

1. Find out path of internal memory in solid explorer
2. On the bottom toolbar, tap on the rightmost button
3. If second bar opens, tap on "+"
4. "Function type" should already be "Change directory"
5. Enter Command: The path to the internal memory, e.g.
/storage/emulated/0
