When we use an option in main menu "Check for updates now" and a new version of TC is released, a browser by default opens the page http://www.ghisler.com/mailing.htm
I suggest to direct the browser to HTTPS version of that page instead. Quite soon Chrome will mark all non-https pages as potentially "not secure", and I suppose that most other widely used browsers will follow. You can read this in many news sources, for example, here:
https://betanews.com/2018/05/18/google-chrome-https-security-warnings/
There are other links in TC menus to ghisler.com website, it would also be better to direct them to HTTPS.

OK, changed all links to https, also in the Help menu. Note that the update check in beta 4 will still send you to http.
