Hello,
I'am using the firefox browser to surf and to download files.
Everytime when I download a file (to the E directory on my PC)
Total Commander opens automaticly and move this file
to the document & settings temp directory and opens it.
How to avoid this?

That seems to be a firefox related prob. Since I have only the german vesion installed I can only guess the appropriate english terms.
So I think you'll have to open 'Tools->Options' and select downloads. In the lower half there is a window: Datatypes: By all of the following datatypes do automaticly the following action:
And a list of filetypes.
I guess there is the associated prog Total Commander for any file-types.
That's my idea, hope this helps.
