keyboard shortcut to switch tabs?

Post by *Aquineas »

Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch tabs? I did a search on this, and found suggestions for things (like Ctrl+1, etc), but no actual keystroke for switching. One of the many reasons I love TC so much is because it lets me get done the bulk of what I use it for without the mouse.

Duh, it's right there in the "help". Sorry about the needless post. In case anyone else is wondering, it's "Ctrl+Tab" (for next tab) or "Ctrl+Shift+Tab" (for previous tab)

Speaking of key commands to switch tabs, I have noticed a slight annoyance. When I have multiple rows of tabs, even just two, ctrl-tab does not cycle through all of them. It seems to cycle just through the active row. The problem is, that it doesn't do this all of the time (I just tried it, and wouldn't you know, it properly cycled!) Sometimes shift-ctrl-tabs kicks me out of the row, and then it seems okay for a while. Has anyone else noticed this?

It has been requested here to have the ability to assign shortcuts to individual tabs á la Opera:

Try to release the Ctrl key between the switches, or holding it. Maybe there is a difference in the behaviour.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Yes, this has been implemented for the next release of TC. The commands will be cm_srcactivatetab1 etc.
