Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
I've installed the Cloud 2.0 plugin in TC 9.21a on Win10, and was abe to make a Onedrive connection successfully. Great work so far.
Now I also want to create a Google Drive connection, but that one doesn't work. I just enter the account e-mail and check to store the credentials. Hit OK, and then... Nothing happens. TC just carries on as if nothing happened (and presumably, nothing did happen). The connection doesn't appear in \Cloud as the onedrive connection did, and trying again, and again, and again, results in the same nothingness.
What do I do to get Google Drive working?
Maybe related: I have had to enter the master password for credentials once every hour or so. During which, any transfer is paused. This is very much not okay when trying to upload 200GB overnight. I'm not sure if that was because I tried the GDrive a couple of times or if that always happens. Either way, that too should probably be fixed.

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
Update: the second bug is unrelated to trying to create a GDrive connection. I have't tried it yet since I last restarted TC, and I still get a master password prompt every once in a while which will pause any transfer and wait for input indefinitely.
Can this prompt please be removed?

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
Hello Thany, I have exactly the same issue as you on both issues. I cannot seem to create a second connection to another cloud service. I too have a onedrive connection which I have been using for years. However, I now have dropbox and google accounts and looking to make connection to these services as well.Thany wrote: 2019-04-13, 19:11 UTC I've installed the Cloud 2.0 plugin in TC 9.21a on Win10, and was abe to make a Onedrive connection successfully. You have described my issue perfectly. Were you able to fix it and what did you do?
I have latest total commander installed and cloud plugin cloudplugin2.50beta2

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
The problem is most probably the internal Web browser, which uses the Internet Explorer control. Some cloud services no longer accept Internet Explorer for logins. Therefore you will need to open the connection settings (Alt+Enter on connection name) and use an external browser.

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
I changed to the new login method for Onedrive. No issues there.
However, still cannot create additional login's for dropbox, google etc.
I even deleted the Onedrive and now cannot even recreate this.....
I suspect that it may have to do with write protection in the respective folder?
Currently, I'm left with nothing. I even removed the plugin and reinstalled it, V2.4
Plugins are located under program files. TC installation is directly under the C:\
What else can I do? It will not even log anything cause nothing created.

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
Please check via menu Help - About Total Commander where the wincmd.ini is located on your system. The plugins will save their settings in the same folder. But if it's write protected like "Program files", they will not be able to save their connections.

Thank you for tine support.
I did have plugins located under program files. Not sure whether this is good or not?
Thinking it is a bad thing, I removed and reinstalled the cloud plugin directly into c:\totalcmd\
Still no luck.

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
The cloud plugin and most other plugins will not save their settings in the directory in which they are installed. Instead, they will save them in the directory of the wincmd.ini. So if you set that to somewhere unter "Program files", they will not be able to save settings.
One way to solve this would be to move wincmd.ini elsewhere, either under your profile, or to a directory like
c:\Program Files\totalcmd\ini
Then just give yourself write rights to that ini subdirectory.

Thanks, Christian, how do I move a 64bit ini file? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the program?

Re: Cloud: cannot create a GDrive connection
You can either reinstall to the same location with option "Normal install", or use the tool inireloc from our addons page:
