i am getting this error in any time i try to connet to any ftp
whats wrong?

Configuration >> Options >> FTP >> Tick the box and fill the field Create a log file.

You may try passive mode: Ctrl+F, edit connection, passive mode. If this doesn't help, then post your log here as Clo suggested. Don't forget to replace sensitive information like user names with other names (don't delete the lines).
