Synchronize Help!

Post by *Samuka »

Hi All,

First thanks for a great package.

This could be a simple prob but i cant get the Synchronize to work. Im trying to Compare a directories from my xbox that i have backed to my PC. Making sure that everyone copied OK. :)
Using the Synchronize command.
Selecting the required directories on the two system.
Selecting subdirs and compare. Most of the files have copied all ok but 5. (they are there but are 0 in size. Selecting for the files to go from left to right. Click Synchronize.
and then overwrite all.

It looks like the files copy fine but then it check again and they have not copied. they are there but 0 in size again. to check I delete the sus files and do it again. They are back but still 0 in size.

I have tried this several time with the same result.

Im stumped. :? Hope someone can point out where im going wtong. oh in using 6.03a

TIA

Sam

edit: finally it worked :D

How are you connected to your xbox? FTP? Samba? A plugin?

For me this sounds like these 5 files are locked because they are open, and trying to write to them doesn't cause an error message from the server.
