The problem with file colors in dark mode
Found that in the dark theme mode the text color practically does not work. The color overlays around the letters as a stroke, not a fill.

Re: The problem with file colors in dark mode
Did you define filetype colors after switching to dark mode? They should be added separately. That's why you have "Dark <-> Normal" button there. Some colors from normal mode may be inappropriate for dark mode.

Re: The problem with file colors in dark mode
These are "file type" colors. I do not see them separately configured for dark mode.

Just define them again, when in Dark mode - the colors will be saved separately from the color already defined in Normal modeThese are "file type" colors. I do not see them separately configured for dark mode.

Re: The problem with file colors in dark mode
No, that doesn't help. I went in and specially indicated in a dark mode each color, it did not give any results. Color is only around the text with a very thin line, something like a shadow, and not the text itself.petermad wrote: 2019-11-01, 00:27 UTCJust define them again, when in Dark mode - the colors will be saved separately from the color already defined in Normal modeThese are "file type" colors. It didn't work in TC 9.5b1 and TC 9.5b2 - have you tried with TC9.5b3 ?

Re: The problem with file colors in dark mode
Of course I use the latest version for tests. I checked everything on 9.50 beta 3.petermad wrote: 2019-11-01, 14:04 UTC 2MARK2580

Hmm, it works fine here - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/darkmodefilecolors.png
You have to do the whole procedure in dark mode: "Edit" -> "OK" -> pick color -> "OK" -> "OK" - don't skip the OK's

Re: The problem with file colors in dark mode
It was broken in beta 1 and 2, and may have damaged the color filters.
In beta 3, it should use the color filters from normal mode, but convert the color to a brigher color so they can be seen on a dark background. You can still define colors manually for dark mode if you don't like the automatically created colors. They will be stored separately for bright and dark mode.

Thank. A more "saturated" color then the problem disappears.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2019-11-01, 15:44 UTC It was broken in beta 1 and 2, and may have damaged the color filters.
