fun: comment about TC on Tom's Hardware Site

Post by *DarkKnight »

I found a somehow funny comment about TC on Tom's Hardware Site. And I think that says a lot about TC popularity!

"Two dots will alert you to the fact that you're in a subdirectory; selecting this allows you to return to the parent directory (those who work a lot with Total Commander may recognize this function)."

Thanks a lot to Mr. Ghisler for this fine Tool.

Hi,

Yes funny indeed :)
Nice they mentioned it.

I hope that no one will try to make a better filemanager than tcmd :)
No matter how hard they try, they never will succeed ;)

Greetings.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

All programmers of that time had a UNIX education. So... ;)
"My only reason for still using M$ Window$ as an OS is the existence of Total Commander!"
