Use TC's official site it's hosted there too.

Current state of software

Post by *Peter »

Hello Vadim

on TC-Pluginpage there is version 1.2, on Totalcmd.net is 1.9 and on your homepage is 1.10 ...

What is the current and stable version?
Please refresh all the download-places.

Hello Vadim

using your plugin in current version I have problems to display German "Umlaute" like Ä, Ö Ü ..., which are stored in an DOCM-file.

Displaying it in Word or in MS Explorer is OK.

Can you send a sample of problem file to the email AnisimovDec (@) mail.ru?

does this plugin work also for .docx (office 2007 and following) file format? I tried to install it, works fine for .doc but not for docx

nope for Microsoft Office's newer zip based formats use

http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/office2007wdx_64.html

or the original
http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/office2007_wdx.html

both plugins can work side by side as the o2k7 wdx doesn't support the old compound document formats

It would be really cool if some developer could merge all the Office wdx plugins in one wdx,
but the Open Office wdx from Alexey is Delphi, the Office2007wdx from fenixproductions is C++ and those are sort of open source as the code is provided, but the CDocProp wdx from MGP is freeware but not opened sourced and it would probably be just too much work.

...right, I followed your suggestion and combining both plugins the trick works perfectly: just using a syntax like

Code: Select all

[=office2007.Creator][=cdocprop.Author]
Thanks for the advise
