Locked Tab on Deleted Directory

Post by *Genghis86 »

1) Create a new directory. Lock a tab on it.
2) Go to another directory (another tab). The tab you just made in 1) should be locked, and inactive.
3) Delete the directory that the locked tab points to.
4) Attempt to switch to the locked tab. The tab cannot be activated, and must be first unlocked via Right-Click, and then it can be closed. This is very annoying. Perhaps a message should pop-up to delete the inexistant tab. However, if this behaviour is needed (e.g. the locked tab points to a directory that "sometimes" exists), then no message should pop-up. Another option in Preferences?

Yes, now when you try to switch to the tab and it's not possible - you don't know why. There should be a message that the folder is inaccessible with the question if you want to delete the tab.
Of course sometimes you may not want to delete it cause the tab can e.g may be inaccessible only temporary (it can be eg. network share).
