I frequently use the creation of self extracting executables via TC for compressed data. All resulted executables
though end up with the same icon (TC's little disc). It would be great if we could have an icon based on the
compressed contents of the individual executable to easily identify the desirable archive. Now, I cannot think
of a straightforward implementation to do that and certainly I wouldn't want to suggest the complex solutions I
have in my mind that probably won't be widely appealing, so I was wondering what do you think and what feedback
you can give to this suggestion?
Thanks!

[Feat. Req.] Self extracting executable with custom icon
"My only reason for still using M$ Window$ as an OS is the existence of Total Commander!"

I dont think that that would bve Easy to implement:
1. Zips:
Zip-SelfExtractionfile Divides into a Exe-File (Sfxhead.sfx) and a ZipFile wich will be added together.
So for DifferentIcons in Zip-SelfExes you had to change it in Sfxhead.Sfx - wo should TC do that ?
2. Rar & Ace
I dont know if there SelfExtractingExes are build up the same but there it should be the task of WinRar/Ace to give the User the Possibility to change the Icon
Conclusion (imho only Solution):
Create your own SfxHead.Sfx
