How to launch an application from the bar menu on a file?

Hello,

I would like to create a shortcut to an application on the bar menu and have it open the selected file (s).
Such as launching .\app.exe %1

How can I do that?

Do you mean the menu bar?

Create an entry in starter menu with parameter %P%N. After that open the .mnu file you can find in LANGUAGE subfolder and enter cm_usermenuX with X= position of entry in starter menu at the place you want the entry to appear.
