I installed TC on my IBM Thinkpad running XP Pro. After the installation most of my windows fonts were changed to Tahoma Bold, which I believe is the default font for TC. Things like icon labels, the Start menu, menu labels, etc. are all Tahoma Bold. Has anyone else experienced this? I can only reset some of the fonts back to Microsoft Sans Serif.
Thanks,

interesting. It looks Microsoft is changing their mind. Originally Christian had to follow their rules , now it looks Windows is going the TC way
No. Seriously. It it really interesting, becuase TC is not using registry. All settings are stored in wincmd.ini file by default in your windows directory. Only location of this .ini file is in registy.

Yes I installed the latest shareware version.
There's a bit more to the story (as usual...):
I used to use TC several jobs ago. In my present job I need to do file synchronization (best feature of TC!), but I couldn't remember the name of the darned package. I installed two other (lesser featured) file and directory synchronization packages before remembering the name Total Commander. I deinstalled the other two packages - perhaps that's why my PC's fonts are screwed up. I suspected TC because my windows fonts became the same ones used by TC.
I don't have admin access to this (work) PC. For example I can't run regedit, or create files in the root directory (c:\)!
Thanks for your comments and suggestions - I may have to have this PC reimaged to get my fonts back!
