Request: option for different file filter (Ctrl+F12) per tab

It would be very useful if TC could optionally display different file filters (Ctrl+F12 = cm_srcuserdef) in different tabs, e.g. *.PDF in one tab and XYZ*.DOC in another. I realize that the left and right sides can have different filters, which is a good start. But in my work it is very unusual for a particular filter to be relevant in more than one tab, so I have to turn different filters on and off as I switch tabs, which is cumbersome.

This would be consistent with the already existing ability of each tab to have its own sort order.
