Change default photo program in TC
By default TC opens Windows Photo Viewer. How can I change it back to the new Windows 10 photo app?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: Change default photo program in TC
Thank you very much!
Is there a way to run the image file into the Windows Photos program?
1. When running an image file
1.1 Windows File Explorer: Runs as Windows Photos program
1.2 Total commander: Runs as a Windows photo viewer program
2. Advantages and disadvantages of each program
2.1 Windows Photos: Lightweight, easy to rotate photos
2.2 Windows Photo Viewer
2.2.1 Lightweight and easy to rotate photo storage
2.2.2 Photos taken with a smartphone cannot be executed
Because of the shortcomings of item 2.2.2, I would like to run the image file with the Windows Photos program.

Total Commander and Microsoft Photos
Windows 11 has a new photo viewer - Microsoft Photos, which opens images from Explorer, but Total Commander opens the old application Windows Photo Viewer. If Total Commander is forced to open through the new application, there is no mouse wheel scrolling, the image is shown as a single image. File associations are empty. Is this some limitation of Total Commander?

Merged several threads about the same subject.
The reason for this is:gonzo55 wrote: 2023-07-20, 17:53 UTC Windows 11 has a new photo viewer - Microsoft Photos, which opens images from Explorer, but Total Commander opens the old application Windows Photo Viewer.
