On the left pane the preview image files are displayed in ThumbnailView, and on the right panel the actual image is displayed in QuickView.
Here you can find an according screenshot of my TC - Image: http://img111.exs.cx/img111/8493/tcalsfotoviewer2rq.jpg
Works quite nice, but the main disadvantage of this "TCViewerMode" is the slow ThumbnailView!
A first step for a possible solution was made by Christian Ghisler in this thread.
If you would read from page 3 on, you can find some background information and his following 2 quotes from page 4.
ghisler(Author) wrote:Hmm, sounds to me like cPicture is using the preview images which some digicams create and store inside of the .jpg files. This is extremely fast, but many image editors do not update these preview files when you edit the main image, so the preview images may not actually show what the main image contains...
So this plugin could be absolutely great:ghisler(Author) wrote:... Maybe someone with some free time can modify my jpegthumbs plugin combined with my exif plugin to implement such a thumbnail extractor.

if it would only display the embedded previews - that would make ThumbnailView incredibly fast,
and if it would show these previews according to the EXIF orientation flag - that would even show all thumbs in the right orientation!
Thanks in advance @all plugin developers!
