By the way, there is one more thing about pdf documents... I would like (very, very much) to be able to view pdf document using F3 key, in lister, BUT (also very, very much) NOT in the IE when I click on a link with pdf. In the browser I would like "save as" window to pop up. It worked for me like that when I had Acrobat 6.0 (after some tries), but not anymore after I upgraded to 7.0.
I used pdfFilter. It uses adobe dll and works great, BUT this dll must be registered and it means that when I click on a link with pdf document, the pdf document would be opened in IE.
I hope it's quite clear. Is there a solution for that? The simple advices, like checking some boxes in file type, etc. don't work (if it works for somebody, please let me know).
TIA
Marcin

No, not clear at all. Don't understand why registering the adobe dll results in IE popping up. This cannot be the right usage of pdfFilter. Could have something to do with a wrong MIME assignment.yeellow wrote:I used pdfFilter. Anyway, when exactly does IE start? If you press F3 in TotalCommander?

Ok, I will explain it better.
No, it's not the case, that IE appears when I press F3. The problem is, that in order to see pdf in lister I have to check "display pdf in browser" option in Acrobat->Preferences. But if I check this option, than in Maxthon (and IE) when I click on a link to a pdf file this pdf would open in the browser (no surprise). So I am 50% happy. I can view pdf in lister (using pdfFilter that uses acrobat dll), but when I browse the net and click on a link to pdf I see it inside my browser (I know, I can click with the right button, etc. but it doesn't make me happy).
When I swith this option off I am happy when I browse the net (the window "save as" pop up when I click on a link to pdf document) but when I press F3 on pdf file in TC I can not view pdf in lister. So I am 50% happy again.
How to be 100% happy? In version 6.0 I managed to switch this option off and still be able to view pdf in lister. I can not restore that nice situation with the version 7.0.
Is it more clear now?
