synchronise dirs: open parent folder

How to open file folders?
There is some difference in files name. I need to open both dirs to compare manually.
And this is how it is implemented in another software:

would like to have a choice how to open dir: in the TC or in Windows Explorer.

In some version, I noticed a strange behavior, an error in the work. Since then I have been using TC as comparing tool. More reliable - as it seemed to me.

So you have to live with the TC right click options in synchronize dir.

Well, I have configured WinMerge as Compare tool in TC and assigned ALT-C key to it (A+C=cm_CompareFilesByContent)
On the other hand I have assigned SHIFT-ALT-C key to the internal compare tool (AS+C=cm_IntCompareFilesByContent).
This way I have the best of both worlds

TC doesn't have the option you want.
WinMerge has the option but you don't like it.
So search another one and configure it in TC
but please stop to repeat the same thing over and over.

Well, TC 10.00 has more right-click options in the "Synchronize directories" dialog: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/syncrightclick.png

You can use the Alt+Down on a directory bar and then click on the first item in the context menu - then the directory will open in Explorer - https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/syncaltdowndir.png

You cannot right click on a directory bar - that will select all files in that directory - so you have to use Alt+Down
