Currently I'm in the process of copying files from my old phone to my new one, using TC's wifi transfer tool.
When I tried to copy OsmAnd's files straight to the new phone's sd/android/data folder, I kept getting write errors, copying to the root of the sd card works just fine. Trying to move the files to the sd/android/data folder afterwards also doesn't work.
Is this a permission issue or something? The new phone has Android 11.
wifi transfer only works to root SD-card, data folder write error

Re: wifi transfer only works to root SD-card, data folder write error
This does not work because Android 11 protects the folders under Android/data, they are now private for each app. Which is very stupid because apps already have private folders under /data/data.
Total Commander for Android is able to access these protected folders via a virtual folder. If you share the net.OsmAnd virtual folder from Total Commander to the wifi transfer plugin, you will be able to upload/download files.

Hmm, okay.
Well, I ended up storing OsmAnd's files on the build-in flash, apparently TC can access the data folder there.
