Sort by File and Folder Modified Date

Hi, I cannot find any where how to sort the directory by modified folder but when the files are updated in the folder.

I know a way to sort out by modified date but sometime files update from time to time in the same folder but I never seen those folders on the top of the list.

Could you please provide some steps.

Maybe "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Display" -> "Sorting directories" -> "Like files (also by time)" is what you need to enable?

I have that setup already andworks but the issue is bit different that I have a folder which was created week ago and I had 10 files in there.

Yesterday I added one file in that folder but its not showing up on the top.

OMG I just cannot find a way to do it

Is your folder on a NTFS or a FAT drive. It is only on NTFS drives that the folder date is changed by the system, when new files are added or removed.

What makes you expect to find the folder in the top of the list?

And when you show screenshots of just one item, how are we supposed to see the position in the list. Show the whole folder and blur names you don't want to reveal to us.
